Really enjoyed this mystery dancong, one of 6 or 7 teas in a recent @bitterleafteas Year of the Dog lucky bag. It’s a Mi Lan Xiang, bursting with the sweetness of honey and sugary floral notes. Today started with some bug-bitten honey black tea from @mountain_stream_teas and Gloria Coates’ mesmerising Symphony No. 10, “Drones of Druids on Celtic Ruins”, for brass and percussion. Entirely coincidental that I had some 2018 Ghosts from @white2tea yesterday before setting up and settling down for an evening’s horror viewing. Apostle, on Netflix, was enjoyable even if there was some overacting in places (not Michael Sheen, though; he was excellent) and some inconsistencies in the story. The setting really makes the film.
